FAQ
What kind of church is this?
RMBC is a loving church family that enjoys fellowship with one another and that seeks to glorify God in all we do. We love the Bible, and we’re united around its truth. No matter what stage of life you’re in, we have a place for you.
What should I wear?
We don’t have a dress code. Our members wear anything from jeans and a t-shirt to a suit and tie. Our leadership typically dresses in business casual on Sundays.
Do you have anything for my kids?
Yes! During the main service, nursery is available for children four and under, and Children’s Church is offered for children in Kindergarten through fourth grade. Each Children’s Church service has an age-appropriate Bible lesson, singing, fun activities, and a craft. We also have periodic teen events.
What does a normal service look like?
A normal worship service begins at 10:15am with a welcome from Pastor Zack. After announcements and a pastoral prayer, we sing several songs interspersed with Scripture reading and a missions prayer. The main part of the service is a message from the Bible, usually between thirty and forty-five minutes long, with the service ending around 11:45am. If you’d like to see what a service is like, you can watch recorded services on our YouTube channel or Facebook page.
What kind of music do you have?
We emphasize congregational singing, and we sing a variety of traditional and contemporary hymns in a traditional style. Our main focus in music is to make sure the lyrics are biblically sound, theologically rich, and Christ-exalting.
What Bible translation do you use?
We use the Christian Standard Bible (CSB) for all our public teaching and preaching.
What kind of teaching do you have?
We focus on expository teaching from the Bible. This means we teach through books of the Bible a section at a time. We always seek to point to Jesus and make relevant applications to your life.
